TL;DR: I keep server logs and collect information you choose to submit. Your email address is collected if you subscribe to the newsletter, submit the consultation form, or sign in with an email address to comment, because those features require it.
Website Hosting
I host this website, comments, newsletter, and spam protection on the same Hetzner server. You can read the Hetzner Privacy Policy.
Server Logs
I keep server logs, including IP addresses, so I can figure out what went wrong when something breaks and deal with spam and abuse. Those logs are deleted after 14 days. I don’t sell this information or use it for advertising.
Comments
I use Isso for comments. If you leave a comment, you can edit or delete it for 5 minutes.
Currently all comments are manually moderated by me and require approval before they’re shown.

Newsletter
I use listmonk to manage the newsletter.
Spam Protection
I use Cap to protect the newsletter and consultation forms from spam. Sorry, the bots made me do it.
When you submit a form, your browser completes a small computational challenge that my server verifies.
